Springing into Creation: A New Season of Fantasy, Poetry, and Big Dreams

As spring arrives, it brings with it the promise of growth, change, and new beginnings. Much like the unpredictable weather of the season—sometimes calm, sometimes stormy—the creative process can feel mercurial and full of surprises. This is the perfect time to embrace your own creative journey, no matter how big or small.

In the first episode of this new season, we’re diving into a mixture of two of my passions: fantasy and poetry, along with the exciting adventure of preparing for a Kickstarter campaign for my upcoming poetry collection and picture book.

This season, I’m bringing you along on an eclectic ride through both the imaginative worlds of fantasy and the power of poetry. We’ll explore how these two genres are connected, how legendary objects in fantasy stories hold profound meaning, and how poetry can do the same—capturing emotions and storytelling with precision and heart.

I’ll also give you an inside look at the behind-the-scenes of launching a Kickstarter campaign—something I’m both excited and nervous about. Whether you’re tackling your own creative project or just dreaming about the possibilities, I want you to feel empowered to take the leap, just as I’m doing with my own projects.

Spring is all about planting seeds, nurturing them, and watching them grow into something amazing. So, if you’ve been holding off on your creative dreams, now’s the perfect time to get started. In the next episodes, we’ll dig into tips for crowdfunding, world-building in fantasy, and how to craft poetry that resonates with your heart—and hopefully inspires your own journey.

Let’s spring into action, together!

What seeds are you planting, watering, or growing this spring season in your writing?
